We are committed to seeking spiritual growth for all ages and stages of life. The purpose of our Sunday School is to provide children a foundation of our faith for them to hold on to for the rest of their lives. That includes:
Understanding the tenets and doctrine of the Christian faith
Familiarity of liturgy and worship
Appreciation of life in a faith community
The call to love our neighbor through outreach and service
Sunday School ends in time for the children to join their families and the rest of the parish for Holy Communion during the 10:30am worship service.
Class one is for children ages Pre-K to 2nd grade. Class 2 is for 2nd to 5th grades. We use the curriculum Whirl to ignite a Biblical imagination. Each week, kids watch an animated Bible story video, talk about the story, read their Bible Storybook or Bible, and try a creative leaflet activity.
Class 3 is for kids from Grades 6-Confirmation. We use the Re:form curriculum that will get youth cutting, pasting, questioning, and laughing as they wrestle with theological concepts from the historic Christian faith.
Nursery Care is available for little ones not old enough Sunday School during the 10:30 am Sunday Worship Service.
